Very nice lot you have all together.
The 85 is indeed a bit of a difficult catch.
Of these I still have the 180 and 300.
I'm not too thrilled by the 300.
The 180 isn't bad, I have to drag it out of the garage again. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

I'm seeing your photo up thread of your Vivitar 250 double window preset. Really nice.
Don't know if you're interested in the companion lens in Noritar, but in case you missed it there is one currently being offered with free shipping and even the original box, here:
Click here to see on Ebay
The Noritars are very expensive, but you don't see them offered for sale every day, either.
I have both lenses. My Noritar is darn near as nice as that one but I did not get the case or caps and I certainly do not have that original Noritar box! My Vivitar is not as nice. |

I got one of those 35mm f/3.5 5 in 5 formula primes.
Believe it's an earlier version with different ring design. Nicely made.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work well on the Sony a6000. _________________ "The eyes are useless when the mind is blind."

I no longer have that lens and really do not miss it that much. I have moved on to newer lens types for my photography. That really is a good price on that lens but it no longer draws me to it. Thank you for giving me that listing though but my bank account is at the bottom right now. _________________ Big Dawg |

Sure, Big Dawg, no problem.
It appears I was in error about the price of that lens. It drew no bids even at (what I thought was) such a low price. The pricing variability of MF lenses in general is ongoing and constant. Too often I am finding past sales not providing a good guide to future prices. Not all that long ago a Noritar like that easily fetched north of $200. |

Noritars are such a rarity that most today do not know the quality and IQ of these lens. Thus you have so few willing to bid on one. Also the newer use for Digital lenses are getting all the media and forum push. Presets are relegated to the I won't give up film cameras group or Like I was, an old foggy that wanted to use all those lens that I couldn't afford as a young man. I got all that collecting frenzy out of my system before retireing and now stick with my Pentax K1 and more modern full frame lens. The presets such as this Noritar or even my Zeiss 300 Sonnar Olympic preset just do not interest me as much. Thus I sold them off to fuel my want for the full frame modern lens I use the most.
