One of my favorites, too. It was a constant companion back when I shot slides. These days, because I have a 1.6x crop body DSLR, it doesn't get used as much, since 28mm is close to a "normal" focal length.
Here's one of my favorites from 1987: Canon F-1, Vivitar S1 28-90, Kodachrome 64. Manhattan Beach Pier (CA) at sunset. The slide was duped, not scanned, with my 10.1mp EOS and a slide duplication rig. No PP was done other than reducing the image for display here.
Here's a 100% crop of the building at the end of the pier:
Next are a few I took just a short while ago with my 1.6x crop 10.1mp EOS and the Vivitar S1 28-90. ISO 100. No PP other than image reduction.
I've owned primes that aren't as sharp as this lens. _________________ Michael
