One of the early super zooms - made by Kobori for Vivitar.
Very high (for my camera anyway) ISO as the light was fading, so a little noisy.
Grey fantail and yellow robin.

That's a good lens, it was one of the first manual lenses I bought for my K10 and I had some great results from it. I swopped it with Phil for something.

Thanks Lloyd - I agree.
I have had the Kiron and Cosina versions of this Vivitar, but they were not as good as this.
It was a struggle at ISO 1600 to capture these images.
I will try again tomorrow at something more respectable (ISO 200 or so)
here is another

That's a great lens for a fiver. I can't remember what old junk Phil foisted on me for that classic Vivitar ? Laughing

I liked mine so much I bought another copy in Sony/Minolta Af mount to use as a walkaround lens on my a850 when I only want to carry one lens.
