Don't make my decision harder than it is.
I need to sell several things, 'cause I've gathered too many items again... Sad

Wow, I have one of these lenses, but because it's Canon FD, it sits inside a camera bag way more than it should. I'm gonna have to take it out and exercise it a bit more than I have.

I wouldn't mind it in FD mount. Laughing

sorry LucisPictor, i don't want to bother you ...

but i decided that i keep the lens on my 400d for a while ... Very Happy
also because focusing is quit easy with it, even at open end.

and thanks guys for the nice comments!

I don't mind having it in FD mount, because right now that's my only FD 35mm. But for my DSLR, I have a Nikkor 35mm f/2, so I've never really seen the need for the Vivitar. These photos are telling me that I should see if I can get equal results with my Nikkor. If not, I reckon I'll be looking for one in Nikon mount before too long. I don't recall having ever used it wide open and close up like that. Same with my Vivitar, far as that goes.

Oh, Leo, you are not bothering me at all. Smile
I am just in the process of choosing which lenses have to go.
Lens "doubles" will go first.

And as I said, I own a Viv 1.9/35 and a MIR-24 (2/35) and I do have to say that, although I really like the Viv, I like the MIR even more.
And then there is that Steinheil 2.8/35 which I also have and which was a present from my dad (so I would never sell that one!).

At the moment my aim is to have max. two lenses of each focal length (leaving out the 50 and 135mm lenses). And I have almost accomplished that.
