There is no obvious pp to these images other than the standard Adobe RAW tweaks and my standard Photoshop 50% unsharp mask @ 0.5 px. All colours and contrast are as shot.
Wide open @ f2
f2.8 if I remember correctly!
I *think* this is wide open, but it's very contrasty so I'm not totally sure! OOF highlights look round though and I was VERY close.

I have to say, I'm incredibly impressed! The lens renders beautifully, in my eyes, with a sort of slide film quality. Corners are way sharper than the Nikkor 24/2 Ai I owned previously, when wide open. Detail is very good at f5.6. Really, really pleased with this purchase! Plus, it should be useful on crop as well.

But, REPLACE your 28/2, not SUPPLEMENT it? Oh my... I have the Kiron 24/2 and 28/2.5, and the Komine CFWA 28/2 (all badged as Vivitar). I would gladly supplement those with with other nice glass, but I could not replace them, no.
