Attila, one question, how did you manage to "link" the lens, which has no focuser, to the NEX body ?

Cheers

Awesome to see you here ! Many , many thanks!!!!!

I did use foot steps focusing Wink Nex 7x magnifier + peak focusing allow to get accurate focus. I can make only head and shoulder portraits with current setup. I think I will give it to my technician to make a proper mount on it. This lens one of my favourite portrait lens of my wife, somehow another one is Carl Zeiss Jena Tevidon 70mm f2.8 .... Pancolar, Biotar too Wink, but this is Nr1 one.

Thank you so much to you to make these magnificent lenses.

Very nice portrait!
Is the lens used wide opened?
One of the best of all projection lenses I have seen.
Though I wanted to stop buying any more projection lenses this one renders so nice that I start looking on ebay for an affordable one.

Not wide open stopped down well if I remember well, it's catch me due more shallow DOF than photographic lenses wide open, but more sharper more pop than an 1.2 lens deliver near wide open. I did use external blades adapter to SONY NEX and mount big lens with duck tape on it.

I just bought one of these Visionars and then I found this thread, uncanny!

I have a helicoid with 65mm bore so it should fit through.

I was wondering how much BFL does the lens have? Judging by that large rear glass it may cover FF.

Nice stuff Attila, I am looking forward to its arrival

Thank you! Not sure about film register distance I remember enough to adopt them on SLR, I didn't use focusing device on Sony NEX, I have a SONY NEX EOS adapter with built-in aperture , I did use with that.

Nice samples, the softness of this lens gives beatiful portraits.
I do prefer the first B&W ones,
And I love your setup on the NEX, sometimes a simple solution is much more effective.

Thank you! Not very convince setup, but okay as first step for most trial shoots.

wonderfully smooth skin with this lens in BW! Great setup attila! The girl in colors also has such a sweet smoothness!

In your wife color picture #1 on the arm I see a weird dark line, is that dued to editing or CA or funny optical contrast between pink and green?

Right. Regular 17-31 is enough for all my cine lens.
