Hello everybody. Please forgive me for my english:). I need some help. Did someone see this lens before? Vinson INA 135mmF2.8
I have no idea, where i can find that. That lens have amazing bokeh, something like Helios 40 (Гелиос 40), but little different.

In Russia and Ukraina there is not. Google and other cant find good information about lens.
p.s. For Jupiter 37a holders: circle bokeh you can get with sekond diafragm in rear part of lens:

rectangular hole 18x12mm:

circle hole ~20mm:

It work on fully open diafragm, and one stop after.
p.p.s. But all this manipulation - not serios. Vinson INA 135mmF2.8 - rulez.
Thanx.

Hi.

by googling, I did find only two mentions about Vinson lenses, from Australia and NZ. A marketing name for some Japanese manufacturer?

I have three Vinson INA 135/2.8 lenses; but none of them exhibit the 'swirling bokeh'. Sad

Another member did have a Vinson INA which did exhibit the 'swirling bokeh', initial investigations indicate the minimum focus distance of that particular sample was incorrectly set at time of manufacture or modified at a later date.

So, just to clarify, not all Vinson INA lenses deliver the magical results with regard to bokeh.

* For some reason my html links are not displaying after submitting post, but do show when previewing prior to posting?

Admin, is there something I'm not doing correctly in regard to inserting hyperlinks in my post. I am not a robot. Cool

Magical results =

A very odd lens, but seems to work well.

I must admit it really makes lovely xs photos though i could bet it's assembled incorrectly. Or as

I agree that picture looks very strange even for a lens without a proper mount. I suspect a missing rear element. Or other damage, loose element, etc.

Closing aperture would probably not help much and all sizes above 800x600px would show defect even more. Anyway that might not prevent you to become famous by using this lens only Wink!
