Hello,
I am kind of newbie here: this is my first post, but for some time ago I was reading this forum, but now I want make some choices and would appreciate your help and expertise.
I am decided to get a 35mm and a 135mm, to join my set of lenses mainly AF (I have a 20mm, Ef 24-105L, ef70-200L, 90 macro, ef 300L and a Zuiko 50 coming) … They will be used adapted on a Canon Eos 5D, so here some choices (low/average budget):
1a) Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm f2.4 MC (m42)
1b) Carl Zeiss Distagon 35mm f2.8 (c/y)
1c) MIR-24 (N or M) 35mm f/2 (???)
1d) Zuiko MC Auto-W 35mm f/2 (OM)
1e) Leica Elmarit-R 35mm f1.4 (kind of “over budget”)

2a) Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 135mm f2.8 electric (M42)
2b1) Carl Zeiss Sonnar MM 135mm f2.8 (c/y) 2b2) Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 135mm f2.8 (c/y)
2c) Zuiko Auto-T 135mm f2.8 (OM)
2d) Revuenon MC 135mm 1:2.8 f. M42
2e) SOLIGOR 135mm f2.0 (m42)

All them compatible with Canon 5D, without mirror shaving and allowing infinity focus?? Any other suggestions?

3. At last,
OM->Eos adapter must buy it today for the Zuiko, and was considering also get a M42->eos and C/Y->eos to take advantage of 1 dispatch for all them. Are this best choices according to the above lens choices and some future mf lenses??

Thanks in advance and sorry for long post!
Regards,
Vítor

The above can be used safely with 5D

I am using it now but now my 5D is shaved, can't remember when it was unshaved.

Those that I have quoted are all good lenses, you don't go wrong with any of them.
Difficult to give a suggestion because they are different. The Flek 35/2.4 can focus very close, almost as a macro, but in the other features it's (slightly) weaker than the Distagon 35/2.8
The MIR-24 2/35 has a character of its own, typically Soviet, which I love, it depends on how you like or not the Soviet lenses.

As for the 135s, I prefer the CZ 2.8/135 over the CZJ 3.5/135, but the CZJ is also a very good lens. If you are on a budget, an excellent bargain is the Jupiter-37 (a copy of the CZJ, which in my opinion is slightly better than the original)

The lenses that I have not quoted, I don't know them.

I use Canon 5D and found that Carl Zeiss is very suitable for color style of Canon. I'm not sure about OM on Canon but OM on Olympus is great matching.

Good luck for the best lens for you.
