Love this lens! I found it in a pawn shop for $10, ordered a Fotga CY-NEX adapter, and have been greatly impressed with it ever since.

Currently my Leica R 60 fits that bill perfectly. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...

Thanks. I was honestly surprised to see it in a pawn shop for that price. The pawn shops around here usually sell low quality zooms for way too much while good quality lenses are reserved for eBay.
I was fairly busy this weekend but did take this photo yesterday of a cottony plant with the same camera and lens.

OK, one more. I just shot this a few minutes ago. My Konica AutoReflex TC with Hexanon 40mm, f1.8. I actually found it was cheaper to by this camera with the lens than just the lens. Go figure.
Anyhow, shot with my Sony NEX-5N and Yashica ML Macro 55mm, f2.8. Room light and long exposure. I had the NEX on another book and activated the shutter by remote.

I really like this 55mm Yashica lens. Not too heavy to carry around, very good sharpness, excellent colors and it's a genuine macro. Downside is the f/2.8 max aperture.
I paid around $90 for mine and have no regrets.
No pp in any of the photos, btw.
Camera was a Canon EOS-M3. _________________ Best wishes,

A beautiful result and you should be pleased with it.
F2.8 is quite fast for a macro lens and I doubt that there are too many that might be faster than that.
Many of the great macro/micro lenses are f3.5 and these lenses are considered to be excellent performers.
Thanks for posting these images

Here are a couple of more from the last couple of days with the Yashica 55mm ML Macro f/2.8. I really never know which lens to carry; this Yashica, or my 50 mm f/1.4 Zeiss Contax Planar. No pp on either photo. They were shot as jpgs.

Today I walked around the neighborhood with a 55mm Yashica f/2.8 Macro lens attached to a Canon M6. Sometimes I wonder why I take any other lens along. It's not particularly expensive or (I think) popular, but it seems that whenever I use it I am real pleased with the results. If anyone is looking for a good, decently priced macro lens this might be one to consider.
Images were shot as straight jpgs with no pp. The camera is set to neutral colors, so its really up to the lens to show its stuff.
Merry Springtime to all. _________________ Best wishes,
