I'm very excited to shoot this as I've I've never owned one before.
Seller said: "The glass is spotless..no cleaning marks, very little internal dust. Almost looks new."
Should have the lens in a few days.
Do any of you own this one? I'll post some samples as soon as I get my hands on her! |

Rolf, thanks for those links. Very nice! Perhaps we have the same lens? I do not have a hood for it yet. Do you know the size?
Rino, yes! I am very excited! I always know that if you like it, it has to be very good indeed.
Atilla, yours certainly looks like a good one too.

Hmmm, I paid 65,00 € ( = 90,00 $) incl. 3 pcs. original extention tubes as you can see on the first pic.
But this was last year amd maybe the prices increases. It is like Attila said before, done and enjoy it.

If i remember well, i paid 120 euros for mine, with the original caps and hood (54mm diameter, not so easy to find), and lost another one at 130 euros without hood but with B+W UV and polarizing filters ...
Anyway, enjoy one of the finest M42 lenses, it is really good at far as well as close focusing ... The pic below has been taken with a 12mm extension tube to shorten the minimum focusing distance. Feel free to browse to the full res picture and take a look at the reflections in the eye of the peacock ...

That's one of the best 135mm lenses you can find! Congratulations!!
I have seen such lens at the Solms Camera Fair, the seller asked €180,- for it and it was not in the good condition that lens in those pictures seems to be in! _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

indianadinos, wow. So incredible! I really like the way the lens renders colour and bokeh. It seems very natural, like the human eye. Good to know that it is good at close distances too as I will be shooting flowers in the spring. I suppose my pentax extension tubes will work fine. Now to find a lens hood!
