The Hexanon 40mm is one of my favourite lenses using film, quite a few times the results just look better than other lenses and hard to explain and is a sorta 3d effect in depth in some of my shots.
Unfortunately I have to use the basic Konica Autoreflex TC which has some limitations as my Konica FT-1 (have three but still can't get one working properly) and FS-1 are electrically unreleliable.
Anyone who wants to try film the Konica TC and 40mm lens is a VG combo and a cheap way to start

This time last year they were burning at the start of the worst bushfire season we have ever had.
This year the rains have come to this part of the country and they have shown remarkable recovery

I'm still scratching my head about thinking they lived in splendid isolation. I can attest to them being hardy buggers. Mine blew flat in the middle of a winter when it was about 12 foot, roots up in the air etc.. All I could do was push it vertical, heel it in as best I could and re-stake it. Next spring, there it was as happy as a sandboy. |
