Hello
Just won an auction on ebay for $12, Yashica TL Electro X with Yashica 50/1.7 and this lens. It looks like Yashica 135/3.5, but grip is completely different. Any ideas?
Aperture starts with 3.5 and distance is given in feet. _________________ I have nothing to compensate with lens |

Hmm... unusual to see a 200feet marking on a 135mm lens.
More likely on a 200, 250 and 300mm lens.
I don't know this lens but I would guess that it is 200mm f3.5
Cheers

Yes, it do looks like 200/3.5, but this lens has aperture control in the middle, while 200/3.5 has on the rear. _________________ I have nothing to compensate with lens |

Are you sure that it is a Yashica lens.
Another M42 perhaps?

Wait and see. It looks a little Mamiya-ish to me but I am interested to see what it turns out to be.

The aperture is in typical Fujita style

If you trust the seller, you don't need to ask here. _________________ https://lensfever.com/

It's not about the trust. Many sellers aren't professionals. How many times you've encountered "equipped with rokunon 49mm uv lens" ? _________________ I have nothing to compensate with lens |

It appears to be Fujita 135/3.5, but with restyled grip:

I'm no longer certain these are Fujita.
They certainly could be, and have a family relationship at least in appearance with the lenses for the Fujita/Kalimar/Soligor 66 SLR. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Got it.
It is Soligor 135/3.5 in mint condition, except it has separation points between glued front elements _________________ I have nothing to compensate with lens |
