Yes, I read that too, certainly the same source. You did this on your exemplar?
I recently received an exemplar with internal diaphragme (adapted by friend in Ukraine)

I did the black side from the front lenses. the rear lenses has the normal factory setting without the parasitic illumination. the girl taken before blackening of the lens. the flower photographed after darkening the lens. I don't remember for other examples. |
