it was a beautiful day today with a warm winter sun and some snow leftovers from the night before
my first day out with a camera in 2015
all on a6000 and f8 or f11
the hood was on but obviously that doesn't help if you point straight into the sun

It must be a day for Hexanons - I did some test shots with a new one today too. I like how they render green.

Thank you!
This is my first hexanon I tried. I also have the 40mm which I will test later.
Hexanons are hard to find here. I'd love to buy some more, I really love this one already.
But I was lucky once again with my adapter. It's one by fotga. The lens focusses way beyond infinity. It's still better than not reaching infinity at all though I guess. _________________ FLICKR PHOTOSTREAM |

Lovely pictures, especially the first one...

Picture 3 is fabulous, personally I would clone the electric switch and sign from alongside the door - but that's just me not liking clutter in an image like that. But I can live with it. All your images are very good Karen, and I do like cemeteries, they are fascinating places, even for an atheist like me, it's the history, and the beauty of the extravagant tombs and sculptures that I love.
I have no Hexanon's at all, I'm adding them to my wanted list. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

Beautiful photographs. You have a good feel for the capabilities of that lens.
I recently purchased a Hexanon 2.8/24 and fell in love with it the first time I used it.
I have a soft spot in my heart (and wallet) for the Hexanon range, hoping in the near future to acquire a 1.2/57.
From my first day with the 24mm:

Smithy circa 1850. Sony A7II _________________ Steve
