Great captures, how would you compare A7's high ISO to Canon 6D and 60D (or whatever Canon camera you have - I lost track of them Smile )

Thanks Orio Smile The a7 has the typical nasty (IMO) Sony high ISO noise profile, as seen in their other cameras. DXO rates this camera on a par with the Canon 6D for high ISO, but the Canon is clearly superior IMO. That said, the a7 is definitely a step up from the best crop sensor cameras e.g. Nex-5n. I tried to shoot a gig in the same venue with the same lighting about 18 months ago with a Nex-5n and the results were awful...I'll try to dig them out later as a comparison.

Many thanks molokaio and Karen Smile

As a comparison, here's a photo in the same venue taken with the Sony nex-3 and Planar 50/1.4:

Nowhere near as bad as I remember at ISO 6400 Shocked
