Thanks Orio The a7 has the typical nasty (IMO) Sony high ISO noise profile, as seen in their other cameras. DXO rates this camera on a par with the Canon 6D for high ISO, but the Canon is clearly superior IMO. That said, the a7 is definitely a step up from the best crop sensor cameras e.g. Nex-5n. I tried to shoot a gig in the same venue with the same lighting about 18 months ago with a Nex-5n and the results were awful...I'll try to dig them out later as a comparison. _________________ Graham - Moderator
