I'm curious how will they make it work using in-body shake reduction (SSS-Super Steady Shot like the on in the Alpha bodies) .

24 Mp full frame CMOS sensor? hmm...
What's the manual lens situation? Any chances to mount on it the "difficult" lenses? (Contax/Yashica, Pentax K, M42...)

Imagine that with that sensor it'll be the direct competition for the Canon's flagship, 1Ds Mark III.

Here is one for M42: http://haodascreen.com/m42minolta.aspx but pretty limited. The difference between Sony and Pentax is that the first one has no support (officially) for manual or any other lenses than the Minolta-A bayonet ones, while Pentax does. Would be nice to see a full frame Pentax but thats not will be soon. The lenses Pentax will produce are DA type, for APS-C sensor, just like the DX type from Nikon.
Of course there is a completely chip-less adapter (M42->Minolta-A), and much, much cheaper. I think lahnet could tell us more about it. He is using the A700.

I wonder if it will be 14bit or 12bit? Ah, 12 bit. 5.94μm square is pretty small for a photosite.

I don't want that camera. RAW files must be enormous!

I would be happy with a "simple" Canon 5D. Laughing
