I think this building might be considered Brutalist. Seemed like a good subject for black and white.

Nikon F80, 28-80 kit lens, long-expired Fujicolor 100, developed in ID-11 . All comments and criticism gratefully received.

Thanks for looking.
Very Happy

Super nice, severe... the crow adds life and organicity

You might find it difficult to believe but this building is the city "bunka center" which means culture center. There's a theatre, conference center, gallery etc. in there.

My favorite view is the last one of the original series, great subject, too bad only for the surveillance camera.

Great photos. The bricks make a very nice pattern on the walls. The camera is a bummer, indeed.

I too like the last shot best of all and I even think the security camera adds to it! Lovely.

I like the security camera too. I could have framed some with out it but I didn't think to try it. Next time I'm in the area I'll try and grab some without the camera.

And I like what you did with the bird Nurkov. Very neat!

I think the camera adds a starkness to an already stark photo. I think if there were no camera the eye wouldnt have anything to latch on to.

Nicely done. The pics with the crow in work better for me.
