Today we attended the Beetle Winter Festival in Rosmalen (The Netherlands). Due to the expected bad light and weather the SMC Pentax-A 50mm f/1.2 was the lens of choice on my Pentax K-5.

The last photo shows our dream Smile

Great series! I'm always amazed at the time and effort VDub owners put into restoring (read, re-building with parts from Ebay Laughing ) their pride and joys Smile You've captured the event brilliantly and my faves are 3 and 10. The lens has some pop to it as well Smile

Outstanding quality in the images!

I can easily see why this is your favorite. I have a 3-fin fish that matches the color, I think my surfboard would fit nicely on the roof Cool

Some nice looking vehicles there.

I say nice looking as I owned a 1963 Beetle about 6 years ago. It was a hateful thing.

That can be seen both ways! But 9 million sold VW's in 2012 is quiet a lot, and his customers must like these cars! Wink
