superb lens and the photos are very nice!
It's a pity you had to work @ 1/80s for the second one, it's a impressive portrait

They are indeed fine felines. I like the samples very much, but I dont think it compares with the Sonnar

Not a Sonnar that is true, but difference is not too high these animals were behind glass or cage. SMC an Super Takumar 200mm f4 both are fine piece of glass I will keep one copy for travel.

Very nice samples compositionally. It's difficult to judge performance through glass, but it seems pretty good.

Flower #3 one is natural no glass , no other problem judge on that. Full size available also.

Flower is definitely an improvement . Shooting through glass is always frustrating, after spending all that money to get good glass.....

Like the tiger shot, Attila! Smile And there's certainly nothing wrong with
that flower pic, nice detail!

Kicking up an old topic, just to confirm it is still a fine lens (just with strong CA in harsh light!).

I have my X-T1 setup on a tripod, to catch the birds in the garden (so I have to shoot through glass unfortunately).

Sometimes there are some rare birds as well! Razz

SMC Takumar 200/4 (six blades) @ f/5.6 on a Fujifilm X-T1, Velvia film simulation (straight out of the camera).

They are not native here as well, but there is a large population since the 1970s (I am told someone set free a small number of those in the late 1960s).
