Hello all

i am very much interested in buying cyclop 85/1.5 but i am worried that some of them have protruding rear element

how should i know if i am buying the right one without that? cyclop version 1 is ok?

any ideas how to recognize which cyclop is "ok" for m42?

what about these?

I think this is the wrong version (protruding type). The barrel is different on the non protruding type.

I think it's because it has been shaved. I have this cyclop (non Helios), and it has an useless(apparently) rear element.
Btw, I think it's not the right topik to speak about it Smile , this one would fit better : http://forum.mflenses.com/cyclop-the-one-eyed-monster-t15612,highlight,%2Bcyclop.html

Nice lens! Was it attached to night vision system as well? Or where did you find it?
