I love this lens despite it has a bad rep. Yes its wide open is a bit soft side,
but after f5,6 the lens is extremely sharp and it is a PLANAR!!
Will upload some photos by this lens, but am tired of doing this. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

It has a beautiful organic character which I love. It makes a nice couple with the Planar 45, they have similar focal lenght but they have complementary characters. _________________ Orio, Administrator

here is mine:
1. Autumn in Kingston Ontario (beautiful place in a fall) @f5.6~8, Contax G1, Fuji Reala, Nikon Coolscan IV
2. Hydrangea and snapdragons, Contax G1, Reala, Coolscan IV
3. at Hazelton lane in a spring day @f5.6, Contax G1, Reala, Coolscan IV
4. Crabapple in spring, G1, Reala, Epson V700
5. An old car in Denver CO, G1, Reala, Epson V700
6. Hoosier pass CO, G1, Reala, Epson V700
7. Town of Alma CO, G1, Reala, Epson V700 (almost a scene from the old wild west, maybe I watched too many western movies )
8. Lamborghini, Panasonic GF1, C1(Capture One)
In #3 and 4 the lens never tames the highlight, it is a good point of this lens too.
I also love Contax G1, which is smaller than G2 and performs AF adequately except for Sonnar 90mm which sometimes misses the focus with G1. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

Camera was Sony NEX-5N
I swapped the lens against Voigtländer Ultron 35/1.7 + 100€ and I regret it, as the Planar is a lot better (except the bokeh which can be often very harsh wide open with the 35/2 Planar)
