Thanks for posting that Stanley, it looks very sharp indeed.

I have this lens and haven't tried it yet, I hope there is some sunshine today so I can try it out.

Oh yea... this lens even very sharp @ wide open and can use it like a macro .... love this lens....

Very good results....there are quite a few zooms made around 35-70mm, but I can't remember seeing a group test for comparison in IQ etc .

I've been thinking the same, that I haven't seen a comparison. I've been acquiring quite a few by accident, almost; this Konica, an Olympus, a Zeiss Jena, and the heralded Minolta f3.5. Once, I acquire a digital camera I'm sure that my curiosity will lead me to do a test.

if refer to the following site, this one won't be a bad choice..in 3 diffference AR's 35-70, the f3.5 one is recommended

I was use the normal scan by the shop, they are using fuji frontier sp1000

They would offer me Hass/ Imacon scan too but a bit expensive..... the image is crazy if done by Hass/ Imacon scan...kill canon 5D2 in a sec
