Soligor T4 4.5/75-260mm

I bought this Soligor a while ago for pocket change with a Minolta adapter, then added a Nikon adapter off another lens. It's high on the chromatic aberration in many conditions, but it's built like a tank and fun to use. It seems to do better closer in than at infinty. The first two images are with a Minolta X-700 and ISO 400 film, the others with a Nikon D300.

Shocked A Nice surprise from this lens,I think I had it as a fixed lens mount.I love that first image. Cool

I went out to Seattle's Lake Union with the 75-260mm on Sunday and shot some more with it. I discovered an oddity -- it won't focus to infinity below about 200mm! Very sharp at lesser distances, though. Don't know why I haven't run into this before.

Sorry, just had to post this sample with its 100 percent crop. If you look at the full image, you'll see substantial fringing on the sides, but in the center it's not bad.
