Did you use an accessory rangefinder or guesstimated the distance on

I spit in my eyeball - and since I have a glass eye, I take it out and hold it at arm's length for the extra parallax. I have to put the eye back so I can see the lens marks. And then I zone focus.
New Portra 400 at least in 135 has a different color cast than 160. 160 tends to the yellow (like ColorPlus 200) and 400 towards the purple. _________________ -Jussi

+1 I think Attila may be right. It does look quite cool (colourwise! ) very similar to my pics with 160NC. The blurb says the grain has been improved, not that the old one was at all bad. _________________ Peter - Moderator |

I've yet to use Portra for portraits. I find it to be just a great color film. So far I've only used it with medium format, but I sure do like the way my pics have turned out. _________________ Michael
