Great DOF. I take it this was with a tripod?

Nikon D200 with bellows on tripod and Schneider Componon-S 100/5.6. These Schneider enlarging lenses give a very cheap taste of the capabilities we can expect from their new T/S line.

Less than $100 - but not always easy to find. I believe (thanks to Dr Klaus) that it is one of their best. I paid $25 for it

I recognized it was a super lens. No one can beat Schneider. Maybe Rodenstock can sometimes be on par.
I am mostly impressed by the delicate colour nuances of the petals. There seems to be hundreds of them only on one petal. And look at the inside of the flower, how smooth the transition from pink to yellow. Lok onthe rightmost petal, the shades of pink and yellow are muted without becoming gray
It takes to things for this:
1) a perfect exposure (and this is Patrick's merit)
2) an AA-class lens

Thank you Orio. I now have the Componon-S series I wanted - 80, 100, 135 and 150. The el-nikkors give them a run for the money, but the apo-rodagons are probably a bit better, but much much more expensive. I cannot afford one of those babies Embarassed Embarassed Crying or Very sad
