I like them just out of curiosity Smile

I think you can do the same with a single close-up lens (acting as a simple meniscus). Fun guaranteed!

Well, not exactly Peter. That Kenko is a achromatic lens (flint/crown glass doublet) with adjustable multiblade aperture behind which allows to control that soft focus effect.

That last image of the Clivia flower actually slipped into the set (as I was testing different lenses) - this was shot using a f1.0 quartz singlet lens.

Looks like alot of fun. I like the results of this lens.This is the lens I'd like to have, but to save money (I'm broke) Laughing , I will probably buy a Sima soft focus lens.
