Helios 40-2 wide open. Light from a 40W bulb. For me this is THE lens.
Cropped from landscape format and slight usm after resizing.

Thanks for viewing.
Michael

Amen.
I will never sell mine. Never. I will sell my bed rather.

So I assume you got the permission Smile
Nicely done. This lens has such a narrow dof that it lets you isolate any detail, no matter how narrow.

Orio, you made my these funny comments "sell my bread" , "I slept on the coach".

I sold my Helios-40-2 and kept Helios-40 Smile

Very nicely done, Michael! I'm sure the missus likes it, too. I'd do a 20x30
inch enlargement applied to poster board, no frame, would look great on
a wall, modern setting! Smile

I hope so, but she would never admit it. Very Happy

Oh boy, I have been very strong so far and have constantly told myself that I do not need a Helios-40-2 since I have a very good Jupiter-9.

But the more I hear (read) you and the more I see your photos, the more I want one...

No, Carsten, be strong!!!
