Sankyo Koki Komura 80mm 1:1.8 stopped down

I think the Komura does a LOT better when stopped down a bit. What do you think? Wide open this lens is hardly usable for anything else than portraits.

All third party lenses better than stopped down I know only a few lenses what has same performance wide open #1 is CZJ Biotar 75mm f1.5 and pancolar 80mm. This Komura a really nice piece with superb color rendering as all Komura do. Nice samples I like them!
