You mean if both adapters are Scorpios they'd fight too much?
Seriously, as surmised, I haven't a clue....
The Great Leslie* is quite knowledgeable of Tamron gear, perhaps he
can help. I'm still looking for the 35-80mm zoom...

No, I sighed because I always liked her very much. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Oh yes, I already knew that! What guy didn't like her, that was
heterosexual? I think she was close to your age when she drowned. |

Sorry to butt in, although I'm a Natalie Wood fan too! Who isn't?
Orio, do you want to use an AD-1 lens on your camera with an AD-2 mount, or the opposite way round? This might be an important difference!
I don't know if this will help you, but on the boxes for AD-2 mounts it says "Suitable for Adaptall, Adaptall-2 and SP lenses". |

cameras and 16mm movie cameras
For "MS" mount for CCTV/VTR Yes Yes
cameras
(1) Some early Nikon A1 Adaptall mounts can not be used with the
above lenses, Please check with your dealer
(2) Due to smaller rear aperture, this mount will not accept SP 70-
210mm/f3.5-4, SP 90mm/f2.5, SP Flat Field 2X converter, and Adaptall-
2 80-210mm/f3.8-4
(3) Early SRT and SRT Super/X Adaptall mounts cannot be used with SP
70-210mm/f3.5-4 lens, SP 90mm/f2.5 lens, SP Flat Field 2X
teleconverter and Adaptall-2 80-210mm/f3.8-4 lens. However, later
types identified simply by the label "FOR MINOLTA" are fully
conpatible
(4) Does not have aperture stop down control on mounts, SP lenses do
not have Auto/Manual selector switch
(5) Mount requires initial maximum aperture adjustment
(6) Will not accept SP Flat Field 2X Convertor, due to its small
inside diameter
Note: the Tamron SP Flat Field Tele-Converter is compatible with most
Tamron Interchangeable Lenses, except wide angle lenses. However, be
sure to use the appropriate mount
(Extracted from Tamron Lens Manual); |
