Anyone familiar with this one?

It's a beautiful construction for a compact 300/4.5 prime.

I was wondering who made this for Soligor?

If Soligor also followed the Vivitar serial numbering scheme, would this have been made by Tokina? Tokina also used the "Tele-Auto" designation.

1- AGAIN, vivitar numbering is EXCLUSIVE to vivitar, SOligor NEVER used this scheme

2- This lens was part from G/S (golden series) serie which included 24/2.5... to 200/2.8 + 35/140 3.5 + ...+ 70/222 lenses
The g/s lenses were mainly manufactured by sun but the diamond shaped stop indicator is often Cimko distinctive

So, what was the Soligor Golden Series (G/S)? I haven't been able to find any mention of it, nor of my 300/4.5 lens.

I did find mention of Cimko Kogaku (is this the same location as Nikon? - Nippon Kogaku).

1- Soligor G/S lenses were sold at the same period ~1983/1985 that the U/S (Universal Series) series which had an interchangeable mount (the mount was specific to these lenses, no connection with tamron adaptall, tokina/vivitar tx or anything else)

2- Cimko (cima kogaku) was a manufacturer of lenses
They sold lenses under their own tm : cimko
and on oem basis : ALL magnon lenses were from cimko, Most Chinon zoom were from cimko (other chinon zoom were from tokina) and , ie , 28/50 vivitar lens was from cimko
