It's shocking to think that these were made in the 50s.
I can't remember any sexier ads than these in the 50s Surprised
Anyway, I love them:

Nobody liking these?
Yes I know, they are chauvinist... but what ads in the 50s wasn't? Wink
I like the mix of classical references and weird humour. Smile

I am amazed at what they could get away with Shocked Very "Avengers" like...John Steed not Miss Peel... Very Happy (British TV series of the 60s)
I can't believe how much the adapters were on the 4th AD the dearest being $12.95!

I of course enjoy vintage ads a lot - here's some more Miranda, they were staying hip though less naughty still in 1960:

By the mid sixties they seem to have gone gear-porn on us

Truly stunning ads, I like them a lot.
I guess that's because I like the particular atmosphere and mood of that era, which these ads represent so successfully.

Miranda cams were top-notch products in those day. But it was one of the big camera names that suddenly vanished.
A good friend of mine was a Miranda lover, now he shoots with Nikon (film) and Panasonic (digital). Well...
