Got this today:

.. but it is at least 1-2 week until I get the adapter. Shocked

Thinking of big-is AF -version. Any comments?

Orio thank you very much for consulting!

Big_is is a good seller, I not expect any trouble, except a little one. Infinity will not reach exactly at the end of focusing screw. Very common problem to me all adapter reach infinity not exactly at the end.

Agree with this, my adapter by jinfinance is much better with regards infinity.

Congratulations!

That is definitely a fine looking piece. I bought mine after looking at Orio's pictures from it also. In fact, it's mounted now. Mine is a user copy, with scratches on the body and lens. Despite that, it produces beautiful pictures.

Bi_Is sells very good adapters. They are the only adapters that never got broken for me - so far.

Plus you can have the focal lenght burnt in the chip

Not to cause any more envy: It is brand new, third time from the box: first was for the sales picture, second in the shop and this is third. Fourth time hasn't come yet, I keep it in the box and admire just the box.

One week ago, I decided to buy one, and this forum helps me to "buy" one; However when I think it with calm, I have seen that the Distagon 28mm is better for my use conditions...

Anyway, i'm sure that you will love this lens, hehehe

Regards

I agreed big_is adapter is good. Just bought the M42 to 4/3 with AF comfirm chip. Works great and smooth. One thing weird about the focal length shown on the camera, it is alway f2.8 no matter what lens I mounted ! Shocked

Another vote for Bigis

I must say though that the very best C/Y adapter now comes from Happypage HK.

The actual ring that they use is made by Kindai.
The body is black and the opening does not bind on any of the largest C/Y mounts like the Planar135 or Sonnar 180. Yet, there is no side to side play whatsoever.

They can Exif in FL and Max aperture. I have found with eos if you Exif in a f3.5 for any lens. The camera meters better.

interesting! I have a Happypage exifed @ 50:3.5 for my contax 35-70 and it seems to meter right, I have to check it with other lenses

Sorry, I forgot my big-is experience.

M42, C/Y and PK rings, all with Af confirm, and everyone works perfect.
Mounting it in the camera or in the lens it works smooth and with precision.

Regards.
