This lens not amazed me like Nikkor and Tessar.

Very nice image also, and great bokeh.

I would only give as a suggestion, to be careful to keep feet and hands in the frame.

I just only using wide open to test the lens, so DOF seems too short

I have the 1.4, 1.7, 2.0 versions, and by far Yashica is a great lens. Far sharper than my Takumar and Vivitar lenses.

I also love the 28mm 2.8 versions.

You've got a good lens, enjoy it.

it is great when we can trust a 50mm wide open at f1.7!
at f8, all 50mm are the same
