Thanks to a WTB advert I was offered the following lenses:
- CZJ Prakticar 20mm f/2.8
- CZJ Prakticar P 50mm f/1.4
- CZJ Macro-Prakticar 55mm f/2.8
- CZJ Prakticar 300mm f/4
Unfortunately, the Macro-Prakticar has fungus in the rear element. All other lenses are optically perfect. I have lots of photos of the lensesa and they look great.
Prices not known yet - but what would be 'normal' market prices? And are these worth to get (I'm planning to use them with a PB to EOS adapter)? _________________ Peter - Moderator

It needs a rebuilt to adapt these lense to EOS.
If you feel like doing that or if you want to shoot on film, these lenses are fine! _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

My PB-to-EOS adapters will enable to focus at least up to 10 - 15m, so it is not difficult to adapt these to EOS. _________________ No longer member , please don't try to contact to him |

Yes, but if you want infinity you have to change the lens mount. _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

Macro Prakticar is very rare lens. If the fungus isn't all over the lens element, it couldn't impact performance too much. You can also try to clean it. _________________ (almost) complete list of Helios lenses |

For infinity focus by ePay PB->EOS adapter, you can shave the base
metal to achieve infinity. It is not difficult to do. I mean the base of
adapter, not the mount of your camera.
As no-X mentioned that Macro-Prakticar is rare lens, but lens' optical
design is also unique, very similar to Macro-Prasmart designed by
also the same company Meyer optics. Today real Macro-Prasmart is
very expensive (no less than $2,000) and hard to find it.
So owning Macro-Prakticar will pique/please you a certain degree.
It is worth trying clean this lens.
I also have to add that Macro-Prakticar is not super sharp lens, macro goes
to only 1:2.2 (not even reach 1:2), but this lens works very well for people
shot. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

I bought it for 179 Euro and can't use it effectively on 5D, yet. Removing the back plastic cover enables you to use very near to infinity but image is blurry, I don't know exactly what is the problem. Just holding the lens in front of the body gives better images.
I still want the 300/4 after missing one for 95 Euro _________________ My name is "Yalcin", and exactly "Yalçın" and here you can find my MF samples:

Right now switching back to AF because of work needs but I still love the MF lenses |
