Does anyone know something about this lens? It looks like this:



I'm particularly interested in the "electric" part which seems to imply that this lens was designed for use with certain Prakticas (VLC etc.)?

yes there also are pentacon electric and zeiss MC electric. all east german.

there are a set of contacts at the back connected to a variable resistor in the aperture ring so the camera can sense the set aperture without stopping down.

the matching cameras were certain praktica's as you already know. Smile
