Now I am lost. Somebody please help me out. Is ther anything to do with ImageShack.

Hey, bigmango,

I'm not familiar with ImageShack but they should have URLs assigned
to each image. Click on the Img box and it will look like this [img] then
type in the URL which starts with http://the rest of the URL then click
on the Img box again and it will end it with [/img]

HTH,

Bill

Hello,

Try this one:

Go over the image in the ImageShack site (hope is the same as Photosled or Sitesled, the ones I use). Press right button of your mouse. In the menu that appears choose Copy Image Location (I use Firefox, so I don't know in Opera or IE the right menu option, sorry about that).
After that go in the Edit section of your forum post and press the "Img" button. It will appear the will be shown in the editing area of your forum post.
Them to verify it press Preview button which is a little more down on the page.

I hope it helped.

Good luck and all the best

Cosmin.

Thanks Bill and Cosmin. I have tried to follow your instruction but unsuccessful.
Now. Please guide me through this one. This was I did and did not know how to proceed.

I clicked reply as normal, after writing message I click "browse" to attach the photos I intended to send then what's next? I even clicked host it, registered ImageShack and logged in and got no where.

Sorry for not being computer literate

Bigmango

The button for images does not add them, it only connects you to the imageshack site and uploads the image there. Once it's uploaded on imageshack, you need to copy one of the links that imageshack provides to your image. The one good for this group are 3, and I describe them to you:

Thumbnail for forums (1)
This one publishes a thumbnail on the page of the forum, if the viewer clicks on it a new window at imageshack with the large format opens

Hotlink for forums (1)
This one embeds the image into the thread, to make it immediately visible. It is the most used way. Remember that your images must not exceed the 900 pixels per side in order to be embedded here

Direct link to image
This one only appears as a link and if the viewer clicks on it, a new window at imageshack appears with the large format image.

So what you have to do is to choose one of these three methods, and copy the URL that imageshack provides, then paste it onto your message here, and voil? it's done.
