3-4 ago I won Tamron Adaptal 105mm f/2.5 on Ebay. I like this lens very much!!!! It is SHARP.

Even though they all look sharp no sharpness was applied when exporting from RAW to JPG

100% crop of the above

Not just sharp, it also seems to have a nice bokeh!

This Tammy is said to be one of the best 100mm-ish lenses!

I just got a Tamron 105mm f2.5 too, which I got off ebay a while ago. The front lens was caked with dirt, and after cleaning it I discovered a few faint scratches. It's in better condition than my Fujinon 100 anyway, and for 35 euros I'm pretty happy, especially if I manage to get a partial refund.

The lens is beautiful, very small and compact for a 105mm. Focusing is super smooth and requires very little force, it's the best focusing action I ever experienced, even better than the Takumars I tried.

I will shoot a few pictures later today, maybe of the Manchester fans in town for thebig match tonight, if I manage to leave the office.

I guess very low depend only from your luck people not appropriate really Tamron lenses.

I managed to shoot a couple of poor pictures at lunchtime, enough to understand that I really like this lens: the little Tamron managed to convey the feeling of the gray, dull day but at the same time it produced vibrant, saturated colors. The pictures have also a 3D effect, that is partially lost after resizing but which I like very much.

The little Tamron is also the only PK (not PKA) mount lens I had that can be used stopped down in Av mode, since it has an A/M switch like most M42 lenses. Very convenient.
