The 135mm lens seems to deliver very good results!!

Are the Porsts, rebadged Pentacons/Prakticars?
I ask because I used to have a Porst reflex, which was exactly the same camera as a Praktica camera, only, released for the West Germany market.

Hello,

Yes , there were made Porst rebadged Prakicas (CX and FX models I think) but also other brands (Cosina, Mamiya...). See this one: http://www.kamera-geschichte.de/files/alle_kameras_uebersicht_d.htm

http://www.kamera-geschichte.de/files/start_deutsch.htm

Mine is this one, but the 135mm lens is a litte bit different (the focusing ring isn't placed in front but in the middle).

Here other samples but here I added a litte sharpening to look even sharper of course Smile

Hello,
I used M42 Porst 35/2.8 lens for weeks, but I am disappointed in its shots. I own the other M42 Porst 50/1.4, too and its quality is the end of my 50/1.4 list. Worse than Auto Revuonon.

Hello,

Here are some shots made , this time on Kodak Gold 200 with Porst Reflex TL camera:

PLAY GROUND / Porst MC 2.8/35

(C) Cosmin_M

FISHERMEN / Porst MC 2.8/35

(C) Cosmin_M

In this case I think the pisture is overexposed, a lot even the river is quite well exposed though. Could be a camera problem ?
I should set the ISO to 320 or even 400 when it is loaded a 200 film ?

ASTORIA HOTEL & RESTAURANT AND THEATER / Porst MC 2.8/35

(C) Cosmin_M

THE REPUBLIC'S STREET / Porst MC 2.8/35

(C) Cosmin_M

MY BROTHER / Porst MC 2.8/35

(C) Cosmin_M

NUTS ??? / Porst MC 2.8/135 tele

(C) Cosmin_M

I only resized them.
