I've just got an f-mount adaptor so i've been able to use my Helios 44M, made by Valdai Op­ti­cal-​Me­chan­i­cal Fac­to­ry. Some tests, quick job, nothing fancy:

Helios-44 a good lens, perfect copy of Carl Zeiss Biotar 2/58mm. I like first sample.

The same lens, Helios 44M(wrong info, bad memory) Nikkor 85/1.8 afd, on a D2X body coupled with a sb600 this time
