It was said to be the last sunny day for a while, that special 12.12.12. day, so I grabbed my camera and 40mm Lamegon and took a walk on this ice cold, but wonderful day.

Just love them all. I know nothing at all about the "lamegon". Who made it and what its purpose was?

Thanks guys! #4 also is my personal fav of the whole series.

Patrick, basically it was a Biogon based lens design that Zeiss Jena simplified to make a very flat field, nearly distortion free high resolution lens, that was used in large dimensions for aerial reconnaissance and in small for for high resolution reproduction, like this one.
