Spring is not here yet; however, the deep forest is catching
some beautiful light as the sun is rising up toward the zenith.
The light this time of year resembles its opposite spectrum in
the Autumn.

Nothing spectacular here, except the nice light, and the fact that
it is ALWAYS nice to get into the deep forest. Smile

There will soon be more deciduous growth beside this local
stream; however, even now the light is delicious. The Sword
Ferns take on a green glow.

Laurence you and your cameras would love NZ...superb greens on those ferns...I can feel the cool dampness and silence except for the water.

Just send me a ticket to Christchurch, and I'll go from there.... Laughing

Hey Attila: Yes, I've been bombarded with work lately. Too many work projects, not enough "photo time". Cool

Wonderful greens and lush forest. Your part of the World is very beautiful, I fell in love with British Columbia not far from you.

Lush greens on the 1st one and good use of the shutter on the stream in the 2nd. Good stuff!!

Wonderful work, the second one is so real.

Thank you all for the nice comments! I agree that the 2nd image
seems so REAL. Although an image of this type of composition is
a pretty generalized image, what makes it for me is the LIGHT.
Just goes to show that a commonplace composition can be
really enhanced by good light.

It reminds me of a hidden place I once knew, with wild primroses on the banks in spring. That would make a great subject, too.

I love the details in this shot, with the pebbles in the water and the wet stones.

Yeah, the second one is very inviting. I'd like to see that place with my own eyes Razz
