Very very nice indeed - do you also create dioramas in which to display your models? If you haven't already seen it, check out this slideshow - it was posted in the Photographers Cafe recently and is well worth a look...

@Mal1905: Thank you. As for dioramas, I'm too lazy to make them and I have yet to try buying background props that I can reuse from ebay. Thank you for the link. His pictures are way definitely better than mine. Well lighted and razor sharp.

@thomasb: Thank you also. This figure is one of McFarlane's military figures - http://www.spawn.com/toys/categorytype.aspx?categoryid=28

@CarbonR: Smile

I was actually testing how buttery the out of focus blur of the Helios 44-2 is and I'm not disappointed. I'm seriously thinking of getting other Helios 44 now. I wonder which one I should get one next after the 44-2?

Excellent, sharp images! And as for Mal's link...cool! But how much time would you need to waste to get all those props in place?! Laughing

All credit for the link should go to Jules (lulalake), who posted it in The Photographers Cafe originally Wink

As to the time aspect of the setups, it's probably a bit like collecting train sets - all about the sense of satisfaction when something bordering on the realistic is achieved.

My better half constantly berates me with questions like, "where are you going to find the time to use all those lenses"?, and "when do you intend to listen to all those CDs"?, so I'm kinda oblivious to the concept of time-wasting at this stage!!!

Hi guys. I have a few contacts in flickr who enjoy making dioramas. Some of them make them from scratch while some mix and match those they make and those that they buy.

@Mal: LOL! Same here. "What are you going to do with all those toys?", "Why don't you buy clothes and shoes instead like me?"
