Sure, I have not seen any of the Simlar or Topcor m39 lenses discussed on this forum that I can recall.

Another picture from my 9cm Topcor lens taken with my GXR-M at F5.6 (no PP!):

Another test with my 9cm lens used on my A850 (FF/24MP/90mm FOV) more or less in rather "macro"-mode. That would correspond to approximately 15mm extension tube on the Ricoh (APS-C/12MP/135mm FOV) above.

The result is not bad either for an approximately 60 years old lens:

Full picture without PP:

100% crop of above:

From my today's dog walk. All pictures shot with the Topcor 90/3.5 and the Ricoh GXR-M.
Only downsized and exposure corrected in LR.
Original KMZ Industar-50 lens shade was used (received today from Ukraine). Wink

And a 100% crop:

Comments are welcome.

Cheers,

Nice samples, I like them all. I will try to get this lens to but it is probably rare and expensive?

Not in Japan Wink

Very rare, the SLR version, which uses the same optics is somewhat more common, but still hard to find, Keven's cameras has 3 on eBay, and not very cheap, one was sold on this site, and I bought one off eBay for much less then what Keven is selling his for.

The Topcor/Simlar LTM lenses are mostly rare, except for the 50/2's, I have a silver Topcor-S 50/2 that is wonderful, I also have a 35/2.8, sadly it has issues with the cover glass in my A7r so the corners are not as good as I was expecting.

tb_a, more nice shots, thanks for sharing.

It looks to have been pulled, possibly a local sale.
I paid a bit over $300 for my R 9cm, I really wish the wider lenses were preset too(58/1.8 & 35/2.8 ).

Just found a nice Topcor 9cm LTM, I can finally cross that one off my list.
Odd, this last month I also crossed another lens I was having trouble finding in good condition that didn't have a crazy price, CZJ 58/2 Biotar in Exakta, I wonder what's next???

Lovely trio, the 9cm and 35mm are now ridiculously priced, very hard to find period, but even when I do I`m not paying thise prices. Any recent shots with the 35mm?

There's a Topcor R 9cm preset on ebay for a decent price, the helicoid is stuck, it would be a great project for someone.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tokyo-Kogaku-R-Topcor-9cm-90mm-f3-5-Lens-Captain-Jack/303078391765

I've had mine apart to relube, it's quite simple assuming it's not totally mangled, it's either the grease has dried out, some grit in the helicoid, or the guide rail is bent from someone using the focus ring to mount/dismount the lens.

Here's the LTM 9cm for sale too.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/CLEAN-Topcor-90mm-f3-5-Leica-screw-mount-LTM-Topcon-from-JAPAN-015736/132981463848

Edit: Also the R 135/3.5 for cheap, some fungus, also easy to service.

Nope, something like a garden gnome; i.e. a ceramic garden decoration. Wink

Indeed, it's an extraordinary lens and more than good enough for 42MP/FF sensors.
