Hi Rolf,

I´ve a similar lens, but the F5.6, that I use with the 350D/400D. It's all silver, including the hood.

It´s quite sharp, but not my favourite.

I´m looking for a F2.8 on the same range, until then, I´ll use the F5.6.

Tell me if you want pictures taken with this lens.

It's a UV Topcor for the Unirex family, not the type for a proper SLR with focal plane shutter.

+1 unusable you can't mount it.

+ 1 unusable (i have two UV Topcors: a 50/2.8 and a 100/2.Cool ...

These were made for Unirex bodies, where the diaphragm mechanics was in the camera body instead of the lens ...

If you really want to play with Topcors, look for RE Topcor lenses, which have the whole mechanics embedded as all the other manual lenses we are using ...
