Tokina (Tokyo Koki)
I have seen several, and original ads, for this as "Tele-Tokina" and "Minetar", both house brands at the time for Tokyo Koki.
And of course they eventually renamed the company "Tokina" after their brand, as was the usual practice in the Japanese photo industry - Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Kiron, etc.
Some camera makers also sold this under their brands. I have one as a Mamiya, and it can also be found, I believe, as a Yashinon-R.
Its there in the lens lineups of several of Butkus' manuals for 1960's cameras. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

That makes more sense, thanks for posting pics.
Im not surprised at confusing Tokyo Kogaku and Tokyo Koki if the lens isn’t in front of you. _________________ A Manual Focus Junky...
