hope THIS is the right place for a few results of my M42 to Olympus 4/3rds lens adapter
Russian Jupiter 9 85mm f2 at f2

50mm f1.4 SMC Takumar at f1.4

50mm f4 SMC Macro-Takumar at f16 with Ring Flash

And the 50mm on a FF camera will look just like photo made using 85mm on 4/3, if the subject distance is the same in all photos...

PS using a ruler as subject shows what's happening best imho. The numbers also allow for comparison calculations.

I'm pretty sure subject distance is different for these photos, that similar framing was the goal. Notice how the background squirrel appears larger compared to the bunny, in the photo made with the larger lens. That size difference is perspective change due to the change in subject distance.
