for this lens hood is a must, because it tends to lose contrast and get bluish cast when too much sunlight comes in

i like it's close focusing capability, only thing is that it needs lens hood (as i said in first post).

looking at ebay prices for this lens, i got it cheap. i paid 250 kuna (that's around 33€/44$)
