Macro isn't my thing but, wow, that's good technique showcasing what looks like one sharp lens. Particularly considering the pittance they sell for.

This is not only a very good macro but serves well as a standard lens at mid range and infinity.And it's a pleasure to handle.

I used to own the New FD version and found it to be almost too sharp at times. A great lens.

One of the better 50 macros out there that I've used, I'm looking forward to trying it out on the A7r along with the FD SC 100/4 I just picked up, and the OM 50/3.5 macro.
