There's a Tokina AT-X Pro that is based on the replacement to this Angenieux and is not too expensive:

The Tokina and it's Angenieux forebears are highly sought after by Full Frame users, apparently they are excellent all the way to the edges with very little falloff, which of course we can't see when it's used on M4/3.

That Tokina is a totally different lens to the one in the topic...

Dont know, if someone on this forum is using the "search function"... we do have a very long thread regarding this lens with nearly all details about the lens.

And Yes, the Tokina 2.6/28-70mm is a totally different lens.
Left Angenieux 2.5-3.3/35-70mm, right Angenieux 2.6/28-70mm... this is the lens, which Tokina distributed as a copy under his own brand and not the left one..
