This is the best mirror lens I have tried among the other old 250-350mm mirror lenses from Japan and Russian. It is sharp with good contrast. Besides, this lens can focus much closer (1.1M) than the other old mirror lenses. With the long focus throw and good sharpness, nailing the focus becomes an easy take.

For anyone who interested in this lens, make sure check for separation on the rear group. Avoid prolonged use under strong sunlight.

Here are some samples taken in a sunny day. All my photos posted in this section are processed with the same way with minimal among of processing.

Thanks all! I will practice more on this lens and post more oriental photos when I am more familiar with it. Smile

I try this lens on my lens turbo v1. It shows pretty decent sharpness even at the corners when focus at far distance. Here is a full resolution photo with only the default sharpen applied in LR 5. Note that the lens may not be exactly perpendicular to the wall.

Great results you got there, it seems a very good lens indeed.
I Really like #2, but it's not because of the lens' qualities.

Great pictures, it's obviously a very good lens, but someone has to take good pictures with a good lens. Wink

It actually has very good sharpness in the corners with your Lens Turbo. Definitely a keeper. Wish I would have found one before the prices exploded.
